Lomalito Moala is a New Zealand-Tongan boxing figure whose experience and accomplishments have made him a respected coach in the sport. He holds a remarkable amateur record of 89 wins and only 6 losses, with career highlights that include winning a bronze medal at the 2010 Commonwealth Games in New Delhi and competing at the World Championships. Known for his skill and competitive spirit, Lomu has even shared the ring with elite fighters like Vasyl Lomachenko and Josh Taylor.
Beyond his personal accolades, Lomu has been instrumental in the boxing community, particularly during the pandemic. Today, he channels his expertise into Moala Boxing Academy, where he mentors and inspires both amateurs and aspiring professionals. His dedication to technical excellence, mental fortitude, and community building has cemented his status as both a pioneer and a mentor for emerging talent in boxing​.
